BRG’s HAP Tech is seeking a motivated Security Analyst to be an integral part of our Security team! The ideal candidate will identify and fix problems within security systems by analyzing risks, vulnerabilities, threats, and incidents.
Responsibilities
Monitor all networks and computer systems to prevent, detect, and investigate security breaches.
Identify and assess security risks, analyze security data, and develop and implement security strategies.
Research the latest information technology security trends.
Prepare and document standard operating procedures and protocols.
Develop technical solutions and new security tools to help mitigate security vulnerabilities and automate repeatable tasks.
Write comprehensive reports including assessment-based findings, outcomes, and propositions for further system security enhancement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, cybersecurity, or similar field.
Two to five years work experience as a Security Analyst or related position.
Detailed technical knowledge of database and operating system security.
Thorough understanding of the latest security principles, techniques, and protocols.
Problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
Familiarity with web related technologies (Web applications, Web Services, Service Oriented Architectures) and of network/web related protocols.
Hands on experience in security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus software, authentication systems, log management, content.
Candidate must be able to submit verification of his/her legal right to work in the United States, without company sponsorship
