The team is dedicated to inspiring better business performance and helping clients focus on their core businesses.The Program Manager acts as a liaison to the client's business partners to reserve capacity and land hardware in the data centers within the client portfolio. The Program Manager sets an example for others positively exemplifying BGIS values.RESPONSIBILITIESLogistics Coordination Support• Review and approve capacity requests.• Evaluate capacity requests and ensure that the necessary space, power, and infrastructure meets the requirements for incoming hardware.• Collaborate with the client's Data Center Services team to build out new space and infrastructure if the existing environment is not capable of satisfying the capacity request.• Provide ticket priorities when needed to Sites Services team members.• Coordinate with the Regional Sites Services team members to assist with prioritization of work based on the workload and business requirements.• Assist in the project coordination duties related to decommissioning of hardware in the various data centers.• Contribute to the completion of other key initiatives as assigned.Client Support• Provide quarterly hardware readouts to the client's Data Center Services team by attending quarterly Capacity meetings.• Lead weekly Data Center Services client meeting pertaining to current and incoming hardware projects.• Report progress, risks, and issue resolution in weekly / bi-weekly status meetings.• Provide documentation/project tracking and management reporting as required.• Research, resolve and respond to complex problems and questions.Other duties as assigned.REQUIRED EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE and ABILITIES• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration or relevant field or equivalent work experience.• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.• Ability to focus efforts of diverse departments and team members to complete projects with shared goals.• Advanced problem- solving capabilities employing multiple perspectives and higher level strategic impact.• Relationship building talent within the organization and with external clients and vendors.• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Visio.Visit us online at https://www.bgis.com/us/careers.htm for more information.Our company culture includes a robust mix of sound business practices and employee initiatives that promote personal and professional development, work/life balance, health and wellness and community involvement.The Company is an equal opportunity employer. BGIS has different pay ranges for different work locations within the United States which allows us to pay team members competitively and consistently in different geographic markets.
