Media Asset Manager

Biden for President is seeking a meticulously organized Media Asset Manager to ingest, catalog, organize, manage, and track the campaign’s media assets. This person will play an essential role in processing footage and distributing it for use across the campaign. The ideal candidate for this role will have one or more years of experience managing a library of video assets, be comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, and be excited about the mission of reelecting Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.


Key Responsibilities
  • Ingest footage from the field and manage upload to the cloud
  • Catalog, tag, add metadata, and send footage for transcription
  • Manage proxy creation and footage distribution to editors
  • Coordinate with field teams for hard drive assignments and footage deliveries.
  • Maintain a close familiarity with existing footage in order to quickly locate requested footage types
  • Track approved b-roll and stringouts in order to quickly distribute requested footage to internal and external teams


Preferred Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience maintaining a hyper-organized video asset system in which proper tagging and taxonomy are critical
  • Extremely strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • A working knowledge of video production terminology 
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced environment and balancing priorities amid competing deadlines
  • Knowledge of cloud-based media workflows and proxy-based workflows
  • Knowledge of metadata and tagging systems and best practices. 
  • Experience working with an asset management program like Iconik preferred
  • Proactive, clear communicator
  • An interest in politics and enthusiasm for working on the Biden-Harris campaign
  • Video editing skills are a plus


$60,000 - $65,000 a year
