  • What’s my job title? Account Manager, EMEA

  • Where in the world? You can work remotely from Spain, Portugal, UK or Netherlands

  • Working hours? For this role, you will operate within the CET timezones

  • What language(s) will I speak? English (and another major European language would be a major plus!)

Bird is looking for an aAcount Manager to manage some of our largest clients in the region. In this role, you will be responsible for their retention and growth. You will look after a specific territory and assigned quota while maintaining the highest levels of customer satisfaction.  

You’ll report to the Head of Sales, EMEA and work in close partnership with Sales, Product Management, Customer Support/Success, Marketing, Legal and Finance.

 

What you’ll do

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, serving as their primary point of contact.

  • Develop and execute strategies and account planning to drive growth and revenue for assigned accounts (Start-Up up to Enterprise).

  • Work closely with clients to understand their business needs and identify opportunities for growth, including holding Quarter Business Reviews

  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and product, to develop and implement client solutions.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continually improve client outcomes.

  • Employ a solution-selling methodology to facilitate customer evaluations and to help them understand Bird’s unique differentiation.

  • Develop and grow Bird visibility and relationships across multiple levels within the customer organisation. Navigate through decision-makers and influencers

  • Representing Bird at events/tradeshows and also travelling to onsite meetings with clients

 

What you’ll bring

  • 3+ years of progressively increased responsibility in B2B within the SaaS space

  • Ability to manage relationships with all levels of the partner community

  • Full professional proficiency in English (and preferably another major European language), both verbally and written

  • Track record of personally selling and closing complex technical solutions to enterprises and software companies 

  • Strong experience in both the direct and partner channels are desired

  • Experience with creating pricing proposals, negotiating terms and managing the contract process. Fearless and a ruthless focus on execution.

  • Demonstrated experience with Enterprise and the ability to leverage those contacts

 

Bonus points if you have one of the following

  • Track record of handling EMEA-based customers and proven performance of growing these accounts

  • Prior experience within the omnichannel marketing automation space is a plus!
