• What’s my job title? Account Manager, LATAM
• Where in the world? You can work remotely from the US (preferably East Coast)
• Working hours? For this role, you will operate within US timezones
• What language(s) will I speak? Native-level English and Spanish
Bird is looking for an Account Manager to retain and grow customer accounts. You will act as the primary point of contact for named customers in Latin America (LATAM) and have an assigned quota while maintaining the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
You’ll report to the Vice President, Account Growth & Retention for the Amercas and work in close partnership with Sales, Product Management, Customer Support/Success, Marketing, Legal and Finance.
What you’ll do
• Build and maintain strong relationships with named customers, serving as their primary point of contact
• Handle renewals as well as identify and pursue opportunities for upsell, cross-sell and referrals to the Hunter Team in order to build consistent and sustainable pipeline for quota attainment
• Create and deliver accurate forecasts for both new business and renewals
• Develop and execute strategies and account planning to drive growth and revenue for named accounts (Start-Up up to Enterprise)
• Work closely with clients to understand their business needs and identify opportunities for growth, including holding Business Reviews
• Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and product, to develop and implement client solutions
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continually improve client outcomes
• Employ a solution-selling methodology to facilitate customer evaluations and to help them understand Bird’s unique differentiation
• Develop and grow Bird visibility and relationships across multiple levels within the customer organisation. Navigate through decision-makers and influencers
• Represent Bird at events/tradeshows and also travelling to onsite meetings with clients as needed
What you’ll bring
• 5+ years of progressively increased responsibility in B2B within the SaaS space
• Full professional proficiency in English and Spanish, both verbally and written
• Track record of selling technology solutions to non-technical people at the Director level and above
• Experience with creating pricing proposals, negotiating terms and managing the contract process
• Experience in highly competitive markets
• Ability to work in a rapidly expanding and changing environment, successful startup experience preferred
• Build trusted relationships with executive sponsors and end users
• Teamwork and good communication skills are a must
• Four year university/college degree required
• Previous remote work experience preferred
Bonus points if you have one of the following
• You speak fluent Portuguese as well!
• Prior experience within the omnichannel marketing automation space is a plus!
