BJC is looking for an Accounts Payable Supervisor!

Must live in the greater St. Louis area. The role is hybrid but does require onsite several times a week every other month.

The Accounts Payable department is responsible for timely, accurate payment of invoices from vendors, contractors, and the like.



Preferred Qualifications


Role Purpose

Position is primarily responsible for supervising aspects of the accounts payable function for BJC Healthcare. Responsible for ensuring excellent customer service, timely and accurate vendor pay strategy to promote positive relationships with vendors that have key partnerships with BJC Healthcare.


Responsibilities

  • Manages individual(s) including but not limited to: hires, trains, assigns work, manages & evaluates performance, conducts professional development plans. Ensures that the productivity and actions of that group meet/support the overall operational goals of the department as established by department leadership.
  • Supervises and trains department staff, and establishes goals, monitors productivity and efficiency, and evaluates staffing requirements.
  • Analyzes and assesses present and future needs, trends, challenges, and opportunities related to various initiatives.
  • Promotes exceptional customer service and quality to front line staff.
