Overview- Design Craft: Achieve expert-level mastery in design principles, visual aesthetics, and interaction design techniques. Leverages their design craft to create design artifacts and innovative product visions based on user feedback, metrics and testing.
- Time and Relationship Management: Strategically plans project needs with stakeholders and optimizes workflows for timely delivery. Leads collaborative efforts in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication and Influence: Represents design in high-level discussions with executives, product leaders, and other stakeholders. A role model and mentor to senior designers, sharing knowledge and industry trends, with significant influence within and outside the design team.
- Data and Research Application: Champions the importance of user-centered design at the executive level, presenting research findings to executives to influence strategic decisions. Additionally, they ensure the team consistently applies research insights to enhance product development and align with user needs.
- Project Ownership and Execution: Accountable for the success of design initiatives at a strategic level, working with executive leadership to align design goals with business objectives and driving innovation across the organization.
Your background- Bachelor's degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or equivalent professional experience
- 7+ years of experience in product design
- Prior work history in e-commerce
- Driven by user-centered and design thinking methodologies
- Experience building and launching features/products that encompass an end-to-end experience across a variety of platforms
- Demonstrated ability designing intuitive and meaningful mobile apps
- Clear and articulate written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills
- Case studies that tell the story of your approach and design process to solve complex problems driven by data
$160,000 - $170,000 a year
