Skills

Java or similar object-oriented languages
Cloud services (AWS, GCP)
Open source search engines (Solr, ElasticSearch)
Big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka)
Machine learning algorithms

Responsibilities

Design and implement recall and ranking search algorithms
Build and maintain data processing pipelines for Search
Partner with the Product team to understand requirements
Engage cross-functional engineering teams
Participate in agile development processes

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related fields
