We are looking for a UX Designer to join us as we build cutting-edge technology solutions!  This is your opportunity to be part of a team that is committed to delivering best in class service to our customers.

In this role, you will play a crucial part in shaping the user interface of AAA titles by translating wireframes into compelling in-game UI assets. You will collaborate closely with the Art Director and UX Director to ensure the visual style is consistently executed across all design elements. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile projects, where your design expertise will enhance the player experience on both console and PC platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Design Execution: Create and execute high-quality design work that aligns with the visual style developed in collaboration with the Art Director and UX Director.
  • UI Asset Development: Collaborate with the UX team to translate wireframes into in-game UI assets, ensuring they are ready for engineering hand-off.
  • Project Management: Effectively manage multiple design assignments with varying deadlines simultaneously, ensuring timely and consistent delivery.

Qualifications:

  • BA or BFA in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3+ years in a UI artist role or similar, with experience working on AAA titles.
  • Strong understanding of UI design, including graphic design principles (layout, composition, typography, iconography) and usability/functionality (button states, accessibility).
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, Sketch, or other visual design and wireframing tools.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions effectively.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the latest UI trends, design trends, and techniques.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with 3D modeling software, Adobe After Effects, and Perforce.
  • Experience in animation and motion graphics.
  • Experience designing UI for console and PC platforms.

Salary Range

Pay ranges vary based on multiple factors including, without limitation, skill sets, education, responsibilities, experience, and geographical market. The pay range for this position reflects geographic based ranges for Washington state: $72,000 to $85,000 USD/annually. The salary/wage and job title for this opening will be based on the selected candidate’s qualifications and experience and may be outside this range.
