CG Supervisor
The CG Supervisor works closely with the director, producer, and clients to identify potential strategies, assess technical options, critique creative progress, and evaluate production schedules. They are responsible for all CG aspects of production, offering artistic and technical notes and direction to the team.
Skills
- Extensive CG or VFX leadership experience
- Strong knowledge of Houdini, Solaris, USD, Arnold, and Unreal Engine
- Experience with 3D software packages and pipelines
- Knowledge of node-based compositing and 3D areas
- Understanding of rendering methods
- Excellent problem-solving skills and creative eye
Responsibilities
- Define creative and technical approaches for the show
- Collaborate with clients and Blur's capabilities
- Manage team objectives and progress
- Evaluate creative requirements and make operational decisions
- Conduct quality control on deliveries
- Identify R&D areas for the show
- Assist in the recruitment of 3D artists
