The Boeing Global Services (BGS) team is seeking an Entry-Level or Associate Procurement Agent to join the team in Hertford, NC. This position will require the support of sourcing strategies, subcontract negotiation, the documentation of contracts and agreements, and the preparation and execution of proprietary information agreements and teaming agreements. It will also require the communication of performance expectations and use of metrics to evaluate, monitor, and improve supplier performance. The selected candidate must possess strong business acumen, communication and problem-solving skills. Position Responsibilities: • Prepares and completes proprietary information agreements • Supports sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements • Partners with Program and Engineering teammates to provide the best sourcing solution for our programs • Performs continuous review and analysis of demand and supply • Communicates performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performance • Proactively engages with various teams and program partners • Supports the sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements • Gathers data for supplier performance evaluation and improvement opportunities This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. This position requires an active U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). Special Program Access or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): • 1+ years’ experience in a customer service role • Experience working both independently and in team environments • Experience working in fast paced environment with deadlines • Experience with Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): • 3+ years’ experience in a customer service role • Experience interacting with customers or suppliers regarding contract requirements and/or proposals • Experience working directly with suppliers or supplier management • Excellent written/ verbal communication and interpersonal skills with strong sense of customer service Typical Education/Experience: Entry-Level: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. 4 years' related work experience). Associate: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master +1 years' related work experience, 7 years' related work experience, etc.).
