Find your future with us.Boeing Digital Aviation Solutions is seeking a Senior Manager for the Airline Digital Tech Ops Line of Business to lead the commercial aviation operator market. This position can be located in Englewood CO, Seattle, WA, Seal Beach, CA, or Plano TX.Boeing Digital Aviation Solutions offers more than 80 digital solutions that save customers time, money, and resources in every phase of flight. These data-powered solutions enable customers across commercial, military, business, and general aviation to achieve safe and effective flight, operations, and maintenance.As the Senior Manager for the Airline Digital Tech Ops (DTO) Business Line, you will report directly to the executive director for Commercial Aviation Tech Ops. Your primary responsibility will be to drive revenue growth by delivering digital solutions that create value for commercial operators. You will orchestrate cross-functional teams to define the business line strategy, set objectives and key results, and drive revenue growth. Additionally, you will analyze market trends, gather customer feedback, and make data-driven decisions to create continuous improvement and customer satisfaction. You will also be responsible to coach a team of product managers in product management skills including, but not limited to, analyzing user and product insights, launching products, developing product visions and roadmaps, business model development and pricing.Our CA Tech Ops team is a global team spanning multiple countries. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated ability to be agile, inclusive, and build positive relationships on a multicultural team. The successful candidate will also have strong leadership skills, a focus on outcomes, excellent communication skills, and demonstrated business acumen.Position Responsibilities:• Manage an international team of solution/product managers, including coaching on product management skills• Develop and execute the market strategy for the Airline DTO, including the Airline DTO stairway to value and associated digital solutions• Develop and maintain the Airline DTO solution roadmap• Update the Airline DTO strategy and Line of Business prioritization based upon evolving market indicators and business opportunities. Constantly test and refine the market perception of the digital solutions.• Coordinate the priorities and execution of the solution teams, including product design and engineering, services, strategy, business development, marketing, sales, services and shared services to deliver customer outcomes at each stairway within the Line of Business.• Collaborate with development teams to maximize execution performance on the Airline DTO solution roadmap• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Solution/Product Managers on the Go-to-Market plans including pricing, sales strategies, contract updates.• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Services, and solution/product Managers to understand customer sentiment, retention and value realization, in order to maximize customer success within the Airlines DTO.• Oversee the innovation and incubation pipeline within the Airlines DTO• Identify and oversee partnership relationships with internal and external organizations• Establish Objectives and Key Results to set priorities and maximize performance across the Airline DTO Line of BusinessThis position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):• 5+ years of management experience• Experience leading teams of software product managers and an understanding of software product management best practices• Experience with profit & loss, gross margin, or revenue management• Understanding of technologies powering the offer and emerging technologies in the industry• Excellent strategic problem-solving skills and ability to turn strategy to action• Experience working with cross-functional leaders from multiple business dimensions such as strategy, product management, technology development, marketing, sales, finance, services, legal, compliance, and privacy• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills• Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to inspire and motivate others.• Travel: Up to 25%Preferred Qualifications (Experience/Education/Skills):• Experience with analytics, IoT, or other data technology products and services• Masters degree in software engineering or related fields and/or in a business management related field• Knowledge of airline maintenance operationsRelocation:Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
