Find your future with us.Boeing Global Services in Columbus AFB, MS is searching for a T-38 Materiel Coordinator (Part-Time) to join the team.This is a part-time position, normally working 20 hours per week. However, the part-time Materiel Coordinator must have the ability to adjust their schedule to backfill full-time employees on either first or second shift during scheduled or unscheduled absences.This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.Position Overview & Responsibilities:• This individual requires understanding of the military Contractor Operated and Maintained Base Supply (COMBS) system processes and procedures to support the T-38C Avionics Component Integration (AVCI) Program's modified aircraft supporting undergraduate and graduate pilot training.• The selected individual shall use the Advanced Maintenance Management System (AMMS) software applications and the USAF Integrated Maintenance Data System (IMDS).• This individual shall support the Material Coordinators and perform numerous functions of the COMBS, plus effectively input data, assist with Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) tracking, and assist with inventory changes and redistribution to other sites.• Individual will assist with tracking on-site spares levels, repairs, packing, shipping, inventories, vendor repair receipts, report generation, LRU tracking, and customer support in a dynamic flight operations environment.• This individual will assist with documentation of LRU failures, exclusions, consumption data and failure rates, and provide support as directed by the Coordinator Site Lead to the Logistics Support Center, program staff and management.• The COMBS Materiel Coordinator (Part-Time) will provide customer support for the base maintenance team and provide LRU and bench stock support in real time usually issuing required assets within 30 minutes of request.This is a union represented position.This is an hourly position governed by the International Association of Machinists (IAM-751) Collective Bargaining agreement.This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.Basic qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)• Requires proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite• Minimum of 1 year experience with inventory, stock, or supply chain managementPreferred qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)• Previous experience in Data Base program such as Microsoft Access is desired• Previous experience with military supply processes is desiredRelocation:Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
