Workforce Project Manager

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Workforce Project Manager to join our team. This Workforce Project Manager will manage the Bone Dry University talent programs, including the Manager In Training (M.I.T.) program, on-site apprenticeships, internships, and field engagement outreaches. The Workforce Project Manager will be responsible for all coordination, communications, scheduling, tracking, and documentation related to these programs. Additionally, they will collaborate with and advise key stakeholders on the training and development needs of program participants. Additional projects will be to source and apply for potential Grants available that will enhance the ability to support our workforce development needs.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Program Management:
  • Oversee the Bone Dry University talent programs, including M.I.T., on-site apprenticeships, summer internships, and field engagement outreaches.
  • Assist with the SkillsUSA and C.T.E. school partnerships by way of schedules and communication when needed.
  • Ensure all programs are tracked, updated, and run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Communication:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for program participants and stakeholders.
  • Facilitate clear and consistent communication regarding program expectations, updates, and requirements.
  • Scheduling:
  • Develop and manage schedules for all training sessions, workshops, and program-related events.
  • Coordinate with instructors, mentors, and participants to ensure timely and effective training delivery.
  • Documentation:
  • Maintain accurate records of participant progress, attendance, and program outcomes.
  • Prepare reports and documentation as needed for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaboration:
  • Work closely with the Director of Human Development, Content and Development Manager, and Talent Acquisition/Retention Manager.
  • Provide input and advice on training and development needs of program participants.
  • Assist in the development and improvement of training materials and program content.
  • Participant Support:
  • Provide guidance and support to program participants to ensure their success.
  • Address any issues or concerns that may arise during the course of the programs.
  • Research, Source and Apply:
  • For any and all available grants that we can utilize in our workforce development initiatives
  • Field Engagement:
  • Attend events for the purpose of presenting Bone Dry employment opportunities to college and high school students.
  • Develop relationship with local college and High school administrators for recruiting purposes.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in project management, preferably in a talent development or training environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in the construction or similar industry.
  • Familiarity with talent acquisition and retention strategies.
  • Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification.


Working Conditions:
  • This position may require occasional travel to different events and outside markets.
  • Standard office hours with possible evening or weekend events.


Compensation and Benefits
  • $50,000 to $65,000 contingent upon experience
  • $25,000 company paid life insurance policy.
