Trillium Staffing is now looking for an experienced Bookkeeper for a local company in Champaign, IL.

This is a Direct-Hire position. The Bookkeeper will work Mon-Fri 8:00 A.M.-5:00 P.M. and pay rate will be $23-$25/hour, based upon experience. Job Duties of the Bookkeeper will include, but are not limited to:

• Accurately post debits and credits to appropriate accounts.
• Creating standard journal entries.
• Creating Balance Sheets and Trial Balances.
• Creating month-end and year-end financial reports.
• Responsible for all regular bookkeeping and accounting activities including AR, AP, and Payroll.
• Assist in maintaining personnel records.
• Assist with answering phone calls.
• Assist management with many activities.

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to pass all pre-employment screenings.
• Ability to take and pass clerical testing
• Knowledge of general bookkeeping practices and accounting methods.
• Ability to manage all financial and personnel records in an accurate and confidential manner
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Must have at least 2 years of related experience
• Knowledge of Sage Intacct and Paycor software is preferred, but not required
