We’re looking for someone like you to steer complex data exploration and analytics projects through your experience with programming languages like R and Python, developing and operationalizing models, and containerization for Army oriented applications.As an advanced data scientist and researcher on our Army team, you’ll learn and apply innovative ML methodologies to make a real-world impact on intelligent perception and scene understanding capabilities leveraging GenAI and vision-based technologies. You’ll grow your skills in data science, AI, ML operationalization process, and predictive modeling and shape the future of analytics through a variety of means like peer-reviewed papers and major conference presentations.We’ll keep you sharp and moving forward in your career, with access to online courses, the latest tools and methods, and support to cutting edge research and opportunities to develop industry-facing publications and presentations. The world can’t wait.You Have: • Experience with generative AI tools and models, such as LLMs, diffusion models, transformers, Huggingface, or Llama models• Experience with the development of algorithms to manipulate and analyze data leveraging R or Python• Experience with training deep learning models for computer vision or natural language using frameworks, including TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras• Experience with performing data exploration and data analysis on multiple data types, including images, video, and text• Experience with feature selection, computer vision, or natural language processing model building, and optimization using supervised and unsupervised ML techniques to support analytic objectives• Knowledge of DevOps, containerization, and orchestration tools, including CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes• Secret clearance• Bachelor’s degreeNice If You Have: • Experience with frequent scripting language use, including Python and R, and packages used in machine learning applications or advanced data analytics• Experience with training deep learning models for computer vision or natural language and using frameworks, including TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras• Experience with object-oriented programming, advanced data structures, design and analysis of computer algorithms, natural language processing, and applied probability and statistics• Experience applying large language and generative AI models• Knowledge of Linux or UNIX administration and automation, and foundational system administration principles• Possession of excellent verbal and written communications skills to communicate information to a senior executive audience• Master's degreeClearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
