Exercise Planner
Key
Role:
Assist Army Reserve training staff with the development of exercise design for all directed exercises or training events. Perform exercise development tasks to complement team efforts to properly design, plan, prepare, coordinate, and execute assigned exercises and training events, as necessary, coordinate with operational and functional commands for their participation and support, and assist training divisions. Plan or participate in concept development workshops, initial planning workshops, mid-planning workshops, and final planning workshops for assigned exercises.
Prepare briefings and other required materials. Leverage knowledge and experience with Army operations and training, including military doctrine, tactics, techniques, procedures, and force structure to incorporate training units into the exercise. Work in a highly intense IT environment to maximize the use of Command and Control Information Systems, training aids, devices, simulations, simulators, mission-specific digital systems and tools, and other available IT assets in the conduct of mission support.
Basic Qualifications:
• 8+ years of experience in direct training with Army Combat Arms, Combat Support, or Combat Service Support organizations
• Experience with training Army units in both small unit live environments, including Lanes or STX, and in command and staff constructive environments
• Knowledge of the principles, methods, processes, and regulations involved in supporting military operations
• Knowledge of military training, doctrine, planning, and tactics, techniques, and procedures, and force structure to design exercises that meet doctrinal requirements
• Knowledge of FMS Web, CATS, ATN, DTMS, and JTIMS/JTT
• Ability to obtain a security clearance
• HS diploma or GED
Additional Qualifications:
• Experience with the US Army Reserve a plus
• Experience with using Microsoft Office suite, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
• Knowledge of the force management system Website (FMS Web), combined arms training strategy (CATS), and Army training network (ATN)
• Bachelor's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.
The projected compensation range for this position is $54,000.00 to $ (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
