Experience Designer, MidThe Opportunity:You know that a good UX is more than just the code, infrastructure, and a nice-looking interface, it's the way it addresses a user's needs. As an Experience Designer, you can put yourself in the user's place and envision the best way for them to engage different media platforms and applications. We're looking for someone creative like you to craft the ultimate user experience.In this role, you'll work closely with the other UX developers to understand your clients' vision and their users' needs. Working on an agile team, you'll build skills in designing large-scale digital experiences that are as intuitive as they are aesthetically pleasing. You'll be involved with the full spectrum of the digital creative process, including creating using personas, developing wireframes, and designing websites. Your experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, Sketch, and other UX design tools will help you advocate for the prioritizations of design-centered changes, refinements, and improvements, all the while keeping the end-user at the center of your work.Work with us as we lead change in the U.S. Intelligence Community.Join us. The world can't wait.You Have:• 5+ years of experience using web design software, including Adobe Creative Cloud, Sketch, or Figma• 5+ years of experience applying best practices for improving web accessibility, usability, and technical implementation with usability tools such as Figma, Sketch, InVision, Axure, Framer, or Adobe XD• Ability to develop products for front-end development and web applications such as wireframes, low and high-fidelity mock-ups, or click through prototypes, that implement visual media design principles, theories, best practices, user-centered web design principles, and UX processes• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph• Bachelor's degreeNice If You Have:• 5+ years of experience researching or implementing 18F U.S. Web Design Standards Framework• Experience implementing industry standards for user experience methodologies, design technical resources, and web best practices• Experience developing in a cloud-based DevOps environment• Experience with business workflow and appropriate capabilities and tools such as Jira• Experience with Agile Software Development methodologies• Experience with graphic design principles such as typographic and layout, and production methods• Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills, including communicating presentations to internal and external professionals at all levelsClearance:Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.Create Your Career:Grow With UsYour growth matters to us-that's why we offer a variety of ways for you to develop your career. The projected compensation range for this position is $67,700.00 to $154,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
