Job Number: R0198467 Software Developer Intern... The Opportunity: This role is more than just coding. We need a software developer intern who will use their passion to learn new tools and techniques and identify needed system improvements. You will focus on working closely with our software developers and systems engineering teams to investigate, design, and test potential integration points between ChatGPT and our suite of Model-based System Engineering (MBSE) tools, including Magic Draw. You'll put together an initial prototype of an integration between MBSE tools and ChatGPT. Join us as we build systems to change the world for the better. Join us. The world can't wait. You Have: • Experience with presenting findings and progress to the team and to stakeholders • Experience with documenting all work, including the reasoning behind design decisions and the specifics of any integration points developed • Experience with testing and refining integrations based on feedback from systems engineers and users • Experience with researching the capabilities and limitations of both the ChatGPT AI model and MBSE tools • Knowledge of identifying potential areas for integration and developing proof-of-concept implementations • Ability to collaborate with the system engineering team to integrate the ChatGPT AI model into MBSE tools • Ability to obtain a security clearance • Scheduled to obtain a Master's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) field by Spring or Summer 2025 Nice If You Have: • Experience with Agile development • Ability to produce technical documentation and create design artifacts • Possession of excellent critical thinking and analytical skills • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $51,600.00 to $ (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
