UI / UX DesignerKey Role :Explores all aspects of a customer's experience, establishing a complete understanding of their needs and preferences through a variety of tools and techniques, including extensive market research, ethnographic research, and usability translating research into actionable user insights for clients, designers, developers, and other stakeholders.Applies advanced consulting skills, extensive technical expertise, and full industry knowledge. Develops innovative solutions to complex problems.Works without considerable direction, and mentors and supervises team members, as needed. This position is located in Arlington, VA.Basic Qualifications :• 15 years of experience in a professional work environment• 5+ years of experience as a UI / UX Strategist or Architect for Digital Products• Experience collaborating with Product Owners, Product Managers, and Scrum Masters across all projects• Experience in coordinating design standards across development partner teams• Experience in standardizing processes across the Navy Program and participating in leadership meetings• Experience in one or more Digital Design Tools, including Sketch, Figma, InVision, Visio, HTML, CSS (SCSS), iOS, Android, Design Systems, or Adobe Creative Suite• Knowledge of Designing UI Elements for Transformation Products• Secret clearance• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Design ResearchAdditional Qualifications :• Experience in Visual Journalism or Studio Art• Experience as a team lead or in building a team in the Federal Contracting Industry• UI / UX certificationsClearance :Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information;Secret clearance is required.Create Your Career : Grow With UsGrow With UsYour growth matters to us that’s why we offer a variety of ways for you to develop your career.
