WHAT YOU'LL DOAs the IT Onboarding/Offboarding Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and streamlining the onboarding and offboarding processes and reporting within the BCG Federal environment. Your role will ensure that staff transition smoothly into and out of the Federal environment, maintaining efficient processes and transparency with the relevant business functions throughout the process.Onboarding Coordination:• Participate in team kickoff meetings for new contracts, gathering essential information required to support the project.• Track consultant staffing to Fed cases and coordinate with other business functions to ensure timely submission of necessary paperwork, software licenses, access and equipment.• Ensure necessary onboarding orientations are scheduled with relevant teams.• Conduct IT onboarding orientations.Offboarding Coordination:• Monitor staff roll-offs from Fed projects, ensuring prompt deactivation of accounts and licenses, and retrieval of equipment.• Ensure proper archiving of SharePoint documents when projects close.Reporting:• Develop and maintain tracking systems for onboarding/offboarding processes, ensuring visibility and accountability across teams.• Provide regular reports to management on the status of onboarding and offboarding activities, including any issues, gaps, or delays.• Maintain living document of active projects and case team rosters.• Maintain an Asset Manager by tracking and updating records of deployed laptops, including assignments, serial numbers, and status changes.IT Service Support:• Support the IT Service Desk team to include laptop builds and maintenance, and end user troubleshooting.• Support the IT System Administrator with routine tasks related to O365, Azure AD, Intune, and SharePoint Online.YOU'RE GOOD ATCoordination and Communication:• Exhibit excellent communication skills, capable of effectively interacting with multiple teams and stakeholders across the organization.• Demonstrate strong organizational skills, with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.Problem-Solving:• Display a proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions.• Show initiative and resourcefulness in improving processes and systems.Customer Service:• Provide high-quality service and support to staff, ensuring their needs are met throughout the onboarding/offboarding process.• Exhibit a self-starting attitude, professionalism, and the ability to handle stressful situations with tact and patience.YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)Education:• College degree or some college preferred.Experience:• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an IT-related field, with experience in administrative or operational processes preferred.• Familiarity with IT concepts, best practices, and procedures, especially in a Federal or similar highly regulated environment.• Experience with O365, Azure AD, Intune, and SharePoint Online is strongly preferred.Skills:• Strong organizational and project management skills.• Ability to communicate and present technical concepts effectively.• Experience troubleshooting laptop hardware, software, and mobile devices.Security Requirements:• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.YOU'LL WORK WITHYou will work in a fast-paced, intellectually intense, service-oriented environment with established rules and guidelines to protect the business and in keeping with BCG’s values and culture. You will be a part of a team supporting consultants who deliver business and management strategy to our federal clients. You will work closely with the FED Security and Risk teams in delivering IT service and support following strict Security protocol and best practices.
