Overview:
This position is: Complete In-Person
Job Category: Community/Social Assistance (food banks, housing, jobs and other relief services)

Give teens the experience of working in a professional environment - Provide teens with BPL resources (ex: financial literacy and aid)
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Sorting, verifying, shifting and checking in materials. 2. Shelving materials. 3. Retrieving and routing items from shelves. 4. Answering basic questions and referring to other staff as appropriate. 5. Operating equipment such as photocopiers, microfilm readers, printers and scanners. 6. Performs other related duties as required.
The Ideal Candidate for this Job:
Ability to exercise good judgment and focus on detail as required by the job. Must be at least 16 years old. Residency – Must be a resident of the City of Boston upon the first day of hire. CORI – Must successfully clear a Criminal Offenders Record Information check with the City of Boston.
