Purpose
• The Financial Analyst II will play a key role within either the corporate finance group or a functional/divisional area. The position is responsible to provide planning, reporting, and analytical support to the divisional Finance and Business Management team. The analyst will play a primary role in monthly close and reporting activities, systems management, consolidation of quarterly plans, daily sales reporting, and analytical and modeling support on key business activities. The analyst will have exposure to all aspects of the P&L.
Responsibilities
• Work may include, assistance with closing cost centers, monthly consolidation of worldwide spending and headcount, Capex expense reporting etc.
• Highlighting and reporting on trends.
• Responsible for identifying cost savings alternatives and assisting in managing spending within budget.
• Maintains and leverages existing and new systems to streamline processes and enhance analytics.
• Rolling up and providing analytical support to the revenue plan meetings as well as building up operating expense budgets.
• May participate in multi-divisional group initiatives and special projects.
• Works to provide support on file maintenance and reconciliation of actuals, plan, ad forecast for the reporting and analysis.

Contributes to the completion of departmental projects and goals. Errors in judgment, poor recommendations, or failure to achieve results would normally require a moderate expenditure of resources to rectify.
• Liaison:
Engages with internal company and external contacts. Represents organization on specific projects. Uses diplomacy and tact in interactions and problem solving.

Provides guidance to less experienced staff.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications
