The newly created PMO Manager acts as a critical member of the newly created MedSurg Program Management Office (PMO) team which is responsible for increasing maturity of the PMO methodologies, processes and standards across the UroPH and Endo division. This position is focused on delivering business outcomes and accelerating value improvements. We are looking for someone who can Effectively lead small to disruptive change initiatives through a highly matrixed organization Develop and/or enhance... our PMO methodologies, processes, and standards to help us manage our projects more efficiently Bring value to our division with a strong training and education solution for project management This is a great opportunity to take on a dynamic leadership role and help build a newly created PMO to drive efficiencies and best practices across two divisions Your responsibilities include:
Program Management Office (PMO) Enhance templates, standards, and best practices for the PMOs and project managers Development and continuous improvement of PM methodologies, processes, and standard practices Communication & Change Management Develop change management strategies for MedSurg initiatives Some change initiatives may include but are not limited to Deploying new tools to gather and report metrics Developing new communication tools for project and portfolio status Developing new SharePoint site(s) Standardization of PM tools and methodologies Training & Education Provide coaching and training to division-wide project managers to develop improved project management capabilities Provide coaching and training for non-project managers to develop basic project management skills Support project manager and business analyst onboarding SharePoint sites What we're looking for:
Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree, preferably in Project Management, Finance/Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or Engineering 7
Years' experience in a progressive career path demonstrating continuous improvement and driving change in a regulated and/or technology-based business Demonstrated strong knowledge of pm tools, such as, MS Project/time management, risk management/risk registers, project contracts, and scope management Broad understanding of data analysis/reporting, and problem-solving skills Demonstrated experience in change management in a highly matrixed organization Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills Proficient in Office 365 Tools:
SharePoint, Planner, Teams Proficient in standard office software:
Excel, Word, PowerPoint Possess a strong work ethic with a commitment to continuous improvement and drive to exceed expectations Preferred Qualifications 3
years of experience in the Medical Device or other technical project focused environment Demonstrated experience in portfolio, resource, and budget management Certification in Change Management - CMI preferred Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) - PMI preferred PgMP - Program Management Professional preferred Moderate experience in SharePoint Design knowledge is a plus Requisition ID:
