Job Summary:

The Machine Operator operates the machine efficiently and ensures the machine works at its full capacity.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

·       None

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Production Machine Operators will safely and efficiently perform a variety of duties involved in the operation and monitoring of high speed beverage filling, complying with all production, quality, and safety standards

• Operate human-machine interface screens and functions, monitoring quality.

• Perform and accurately record product and quality checks, and any other duties required to ensure safe, efficient, and quality production runs.

• Maintains clean work area and equipment.

• Operates manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently.

• Maintains all product flow

• Performs tests and verifications to ensure comprehensive product quality

• Troubleshoot filler issues. Report issues to Production Supervisor and maintenance.

• Operates and monitors a single production line.

• Completes all necessary line reports.

• Supports OEE functions on line, interprets data and makes adjustments as needed

• Assists with line changeovers.

• Must be able to work hours necessary to complete assigned tasks.

• Able to follow any reasonable request by management.

• Performs other duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:

·       Proficient verbal and written communication skills.

·       Ability to exercise professional tact, courtesy, and ethics when dealing with coworkers.

·       Organizational skills and attention to detail.

·       Time management skills.

·       Basic understanding of, or ability to quickly learn, company product codes and terminology.

·       Thorough understanding of production policies and procedures.

·       Must be able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. 

Education and Experience:

·       High school diploma or equivalent required.

·       One year of machine operator experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

·       Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. 

·       Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, reach and climb to perform duties.
