Through advanced digital engineering, technology solutions, and data-driven digital experiences, we create exceptional and efficient business impact and help our clients win.This is a hybrid (on-site 3 days/week) role based in Alpharetta, GA.Responsibilities• Programming using SQL and PL/SQL and related technologies• Query turning and optimization• Provide solutions to the data engineering challenges• Work as part of a banking Agile Squad• Work in the Agile development methodologies, collaborating with business and technology teams located globally• Candidate must have good communication skills and have the ability to lead IT deliverables• Actively contribute and participate in sprint grooming and planning discussions, daily stand-ups, and Agile ceremoniesQualifications• 5+ years of experience working with highly available and large volume databases• Deep understanding of database concepts and related technologies• Strong experience in database SQL and PL/SQL programming with DB2 & SQL Server databases• Hands-on experience with performance tuning, optimizing database queries, etc.• Hands-on experience with high performance data processing• Hands-on experience with tools for Version Control, Job Scheduling, etc.• Experience in collaborating with partners and stakeholders across geography and time zones• Good communication skills and should be able to work across both Business Users and IT teams across geographical regions and time zones as well as the ability to lead IT deliverables• Practical working experience in Agile development methodologies• Minimum BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related fieldPreferred Qualifications• Understanding of requirements of large enterprise applications (security, entitlements, etc.)• Understanding of modern databases ( NoSQL, Cloud based etc.)• Exposure to SnowflakeWe invite you to stay connected with us by subscribing to our monthly job openings alert here.Research shows that women and other underrepresented groups apply only if they meet 100% of the criteria of a job posting.
