Box Office Attendant

Operate the box office of the Montgomery Performing Arts Centre; receive money from the public, make change, and issue tickets; process mail orders and direct sales, in person and by telephone. Operate Micros screen and maintain a cash drawer; perform daily reconciliation of cash drawer, ticket audit stubs, cash register tape, and ticket stock; open and close safe; make deposits with City Finance office and/or bank; operate credit card imprinting machine and verify credit card validity. Handle special arrangements for ticket sales including group sales, complimentary tickets, and consignment orders for user groups. Inform public of Montgomery Performing Arts Centre activities; give out information over the telephone. Perform a variety of administrative support duties including typing, copying, stuffing envelopes, and assisting with mailings.
