We're seeking a Senior Controls Engineer to help lead our control systems development efforts and play a crucial role in shaping the future of our products. This is a hands-on position where you'll be deeply involved in both high-level architecture decisions and day-to-day implementation of control strategies.

• Design and implement advanced control systems for our automated material handling solutions
• Develop and optimize firmware and C++ code for control systems running on embedded platforms and industrial PLCs
• Collaborate closely with mechanical, electrical, and software teams to integrate control systems with hardware
• Lead the development of control algorithms for motion control, process control, and system automation
• Contribute to the product roadmap and technical strategy for control systems
• Ensure control system performance, reliability, and safety through rigorous testing and validation
• Participate in all stages of the control system development lifecycle, from conception to deployment and maintenance
• Work closely with the project implementation team to ensure smooth deployment and commissioning of systems at customer sites

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or related field
• 8+ years of professional experience in controls engineering, with a strong background in C++ and firmware development
• Expertise in developing control systems for industrial machinery and automation
• Proficiency in C++ programming for embedded systems and industrial controllers
• Strong understanding of control theory, feedback systems, and industrial communication protocols
• Experience with industrial automation platforms (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Beckhoff)
• Familiarity with safety standards and regulations for industrial machinery
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team
