Job Title: Human Resources Advisor
Reports To: HR Director
Department: Human Resources
Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire (Initial 3-4 months)
Summary:
The Human Resources Advisor will provide comprehensive HR support, focusing on benefits administration, performance management, HRIS administration and reporting, and payroll. This is a contract-to-hire position, with the potential for direct employment after an initial 3-4 month period.
Responsibilities:
Benefits Administration:
Administer health and welfare plans (medical, dental, life, disability)
Manage annual open enrollment and ensure compliance with ACA, ERISA, IRS, and other regulations
Educate employees on benefits, address concerns, and resolve complaints
Administer COBRA, 401k plans, and company policies related to benefits
Performance Management:
Oversee the performance management process (goal setting, reviews, assessments)
Generate reports and metrics to track performance management
Recommend improvements to the performance management process
Human Resource Information System (HRIS) Administration & Reporting:
Manage data entry and upkeep (new hires, terminations, promotions, etc.)
Generate HRIS reports for company and regulatory needs
Load annual holiday schedule, track time off balances, and manage EEO-1 reporting
Payroll:
Administer monthly and off-cycle payrolls for local and expat employees
Manage 401k calculations, interface with Fidelity and JP Morgan, and provide payroll reports to accounting
Handle HSA/FSA uploads, garnishments, payroll tax withholding, and audits
Update annual payroll calendar and address employee questions/concerns
Other Duties:
Respond to requests for information (Texas Workforce Commission, etc.)
Manage employee visa process
Perform other assigned tasks
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree
UKG familiarity with the following modules: Payroll, Benefits Administration, On-Boarding, Performance Management
Desired Skills:
Strong knowledge of benefits administration, performance management, HRIS systems, and payroll processes
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented and organized
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
