Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in bookkeeping and finalising of accounting records.
  • Assist in preparing financial statements and reports in accordance with regulatory standards.
  • Support the audit team by gathering, compiling, and reviewing financial data and documentation.
  • Participate in field audits, helping to assess and enhance client operations.
  • Perform analyses of financial records and assist in identifying areas for improvement.
  • Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure accurate reporting and compliance.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of financial transactions and audit findings.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure deadlines are met and projects are completed efficiently.
  • Stay current on accounting regulations and industry trends to provide accurate and relevant support.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field or CAT
  • ACCA trainees prefered, support during studies to be provided
  • 0-2 years of experience in accounting or auditing
  • Strong interest in developing a career in accounting or auditing.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel; experience with accounting software is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a dynamic work environment.
