Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute audits from start to finish, including risk assessments, materiality determinations, and audit testing.
  • Review audit work papers and provide coaching and guidance to junior staff members to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Prepare comprehensive audit reports that communicate findings and recommendations to clients and management.
  • Manage client relationships to ensure satisfaction and address any ongoing concerns.
  • Stay updated on changes in audit regulations and accounting standards to ensure compliance and best practices.
  • Assist in the development of audits, specific methodologies, and procedures, enhancing the firm's audit approach and efficiency.
  • Conduct training and workshops for junior auditors, fostering skill development and knowledge sharing.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; ACCA or ACA qualified prefered
  • 5+ years of experience in auditing, with a strong understanding of financial reporting and accounting standards.
  • Proven experience in managing audit engagements and leading teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and internal teams.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with a practical approach to problem-solving.
  • Familiarity with auditing software and strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
