Social Media Manager

Our client, an Events Management Company, is currently seeking to recruit a Social Media Manager who will play an important role in enhancing the digital presence of the Company's products across various social media platforms and driving engagement with their audience.

Key Responsibilities

1. Social Media Strategy Development

    • Create detailed social media strategies for their brands, taking into account the specifics of audiences and channels.
    • Develop a comprehensive social media formats playbook.

2. Social Media Management

    • Create and regularly update a social media calendar.
    • Post the content on various social media platforms.
    • Monitor social media inboxes closely and respond to inquiries promptly.
    • Demonstrate excellent knowledge of social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and Twitter.

3. Content Management

    • Brief the team responsible for delivering social media content.
    • Post the content on various social media platforms.
    • Create content independently, on the spot, if needed.

4. Campaign Execution

    • Plan and execute social media campaigns and promotions to drive brand awareness, engagement and conversions.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align campaign messaging and objectives.

5. Performance Monitoring

    • Set key performance indicators (KPIs) for social media performance to be approved by the Head of Marketing
    • Monitor analytics and react in a timely manner to optimize performance.

6. Stay Updated

    • Keep abreast of the latest social media trends, best practices, and emerging platforms.
    • Continuously seek opportunities to innovate and experiment with new strategies and features.

 Education and Experience:

  • A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field is required.
  • 2-4 years of experience in social media management or a related role.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

 

  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop comprehensive social media strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Content Creation: Strong writing, editing and visual storytelling skills are necessary for creating engaging social media content.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze social media metrics and derive actionable insights.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Project Management: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Creativity: Innovative thinking and ability to propose new ideas and strategies.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with social media management tools and analytics platforms. ( Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Linked in and Tik Tok, Google adds)
