Accountant

NOTICE: ONLINE RECRUITMENT PROCESS

SALARY: 7 000 - 10 000 PLN gross/monthly

ROLE OVERVIEW 

The main responsibilities of an Accountant at Brainly will be to assist in daily accounting activities and support the team members in the month-end closing process. In this role, the Accounting Specialist will have an opportunity to work on the implementation of new processes, procedures, and systems to increase the quality and speed of reporting processes. 

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Process and post purchase invoices

• Reconcile bank and credit card statements

• Create and process sales invoices

• Other transactional processing when required

• Complete allocated month end close tasks

• Complete balance sheet reconciliations in selected areas

• Participate in preparation of financial reports and analysis

• Assist in preparing documentation for financial statement annual audits

• Assist in automation and improvement of processes

• Perform miscellaneous administrative duties as needed

WHAT MAKES YOU THE PERFECT CANDIDATE

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting

• Practical knowledge of accounting 

• Experience working with ERP class accounting system

• Attention to detail and analytical skills

• Ability to manage workload (especially during month end close)

• Ability to work remotely

• English B2

WHAT WILL BLOW OUR MINDS

• Finance or accounting graduate

• Demonstrable understanding of financial accounting and reporting

• Exposure to consolidation of financial statements

• Familiarity with Polish taxes (VAT, CIT)

• Experience working with NetSuite

• Involvement in finance or accounting automation or improvement projects

• Desire to work in fast changing, startup environment
