Brand Designer

Overview:

This position is responsible for designing creative content that represents and promotes AltaMed. General responsibilities will include: assisting with building brand awareness both internally and externally including developing, maintaining and promoting brand standards, as well as the development of collateral and advertising in print, media, and online/digital. He/she must be familiar with standard: brand, marketing and communications concepts, online marketing, and practices and procedures within the field. Creativity and a certain degree of creative latitude is required.

Responsibilities:

Maintain brand standards while producing content and design for internal clients, campaigns and initiatives.
Maintain brand photo library, style guides and files for all creative assets and resources.
Generate unique creative and visual solutions that achieve company goals in a constantly changing competitive landscape and evolving brand.
Seeing projects through every step of the process from idea conception, to design and production, photo/video editing, to final publishing.
Work with internal clients as needed.
Identify efficiency opportunities within the design process and cross-functional workflow to always maintain deadlines.
Responsible for updating and maintaining brand style guides.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Provide and maintain status reports on efforts.
Act as a resource for employees for learning and understanding AltaMed’s branding strategies and initiatives.

Qualifications:

Associates degree or certification in Graphic Design or related creative function or 5 years of working experience in a similar position
Minimum 2 years of experience working in design or related field.
Portfolio demonstrating strong creative skills.
Photography and videography skills preferred.
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
Health care background preferred.
