Brand Publicity Intern (Summer 2023)

We have an immediate need for a Brand Publicity Intern to join our Global Brand Publicity team! A strong candidate possesses a solid work ethic, attention to detail, and an appreciation for the joy toys bring to passionate kids and fans worldwide. In this role, you will support the Brand Publicity team in the planning and execution of publicity programs and efforts across multiple brands.

A day in the life as a Intern - Brand Publicity:
Under the direction of the Manager, Brand Publicity, you will:

Support the Brand Publicity Team with administrative projects such as product mailings and ordering, drafting and routing press materials and contracts for approvals
Assist in the organization and planning of product launches, consumer events, press-only product previews and fan conventions
Help draft and edit media materials, including news releases, fact sheets, media briefings, etc. in partnership with PR team
Support the Brand Publicity team with media monitoring and coverage reports
Stay on top of communications and influencer marketing trends, relevant influencers for programs and industry news
Coordinate weekly cross-functional meetings, develop agendas in collaboration with marketing counterparts and take notes on behalf of the team

What you'll bring:

An undergraduate program for a Bachelor’s Degree from a 4-year college with a Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field.
Excellent writing skills and attention to detail
Ability to prioritize and multitask.
Knowledge of current events, news landscape, trends and pop culture.
An understanding of social media and it's evolving landscape.
Strong communication skills.
