About the role

As the Social Media Manager at Spoil.me, you’ll be at the forefront of our content and social media strategy. Your mission will be to create engaging editorial pieces - like “Top 10 must-have Items” - across various categories, while also curating discovery articles that showcase different styles, trends, and must-have items. You’ll be crafting aspirational, luxury-driven content that positions Spoil.me as the go-to platform for creating and sharing wishlists.

We’re searching for a Social Media Manager (SMM) to be the very first member of our growth team. You’ll get to explore, experiment, and innovate across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and X. Your focus will be on testing creative strategies, pushing boundaries, and driving growth in fresh, exciting ways. It’s all about experimentation - and delivering results!

As our product and brand grow, so will your role. Think bigger campaigns, faster growth, and the opportunity to lead and build your own team.

About You

  • Proven experience managing social media channels for digital products or luxury/aspirational brands.

  • You have expertise in content creation: composing layouts, video editing, photo retouching, and having a strong eye for graphic design.

  • You’re skilled with Instagram, TikTok, X, and Pinterest, and you understand the nuances of each platform. If you’ve had success with other platforms, we want to hear about it!

  • You’re familiar with the mobile app market and have experience working with digital consumer products. You stay up to date with successful apps and know how to apply those lessons here.

  • You love experimenting, pushing boundaries, and finding ways to hack or optimize algorithms. You’re excited to try new things and think outside the box.

  • You have experience managing editorial calendars and delivering content on schedule.

  • You’re excellent at communicating clearly and effectively in English with users, which is key to our brand voice.

Some ‘nice-to-have’ points

  • Previous experience working with a luxury-oriented digital product.

  • Proficiency with Figma (we design a lot there).

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Publish 10 editorial pieces per month, focusing on must-have lists, discovery articles, and trending styles to enhance Spoil.me’s position. These pieces will help users discover aspirational products to add to their wishlists, driving user engagement.

  • Oversee daily activities on Spoil.me’s social platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, X, and Pinterest.

  • Engage with the Spoil.me community, participating in conversations and providing all necessary information.

  • Develop and implement unique, engaging social media ideas and campaigns to attract and retain users.

  • Create and execute a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with Spoil.me’s marketing goals and targets the right audiences.

  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics to measure the success of social media campaigns, making data-driven decisions for continuous improvement.

  • Expand and grow existing social media channels, identify new platform opportunities, and address potential challenges to ensure ongoing growth.
