Lead Consultant – Devops Engineer -Azure

At Brazoderecho, we are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer with expertise in Azure to join our team.

This is a fully remote position, and we are seeking candidates located in Chile.

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required. Will also consider three year of relevant work experience in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 8 years of experience with Information Technology.
• Excellent Analytical and Communication skills
• Experience with project/team management

• At least 4 years of experience in Architecture/Design /build of Cloud based infrastructure and applications using Azure
• (IaaS/PaaS)
• At least 4 years of experience Devops / CI CD platform design and implementation
• At least 4 years of experience in Containers AKS, GKE or EKS
• At least 3 years of experience in Powershell / Python
• At least 3 years of experience in Azure DevOps pipeline, terraform enterprise, Docker, Github, and other DevOps tools
• At least 3 year of experience in HashiCorp Terraform development.
• Proven experience using tools like Azure DevOps/VSTS to validate requirements, deploy, and troubleshoot deployments of code and technologies in staging and production environments.
• Experience maintaining large infrastructure on-premise and/or in the cloud.
• Experience working with automated configuration and deployment.
• Experience with Docker and related containerization and orchestration technologies.
• Experience with both cloud deployment and on-premise release workflows.
• Experience working with cloud providers and large hardware installations.
• Working knowledge and a solid foundation in the basics around how to operate and secure web servers, databases, systems, and configuration management.
• Experience with networking, load balancing, clustering, and firewall/security group security concepts.
• Working knowledge of Linux and Windows systems administration and security concepts.
• Working knowledge and experience with several distributions of Linux (Ubuntu, Red Hat) and Windows.
• Working knowledge and experience with version control software like GitHub and TFS.
• Working experience with Jenkins/related CI tools, virtualization, and Docker, and maintaining and managing cloud infrastructure on Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud.
• Demonstrating extensive knowledge of cloud providers and large hardware installations, modern continuous development and integration tools, and having an understanding of Linux and Windows OS and internals, while being familiar with Development Operations methodologies and practices.
