Be you ... be here.Job SummaryThe Senior Manager, [Paid Digital Channel] Marketing is responsible for leading the team accountable for establishing marketing channel strategy, developing marketing channel capabilities, proving the efficacy of new-to-bank marketing tactics, and developing marketing channel standards and proof points for campaign optimization. Marketing channel development includes paid search, paid social media (Meta, TikTok, Pinterest), programmatic (display, audio, video), and affiliate channels. This role is also accountable for overseeing channel marketing capabilities including identifying new tools and partners that enables marketing optimization. Must exhibit ability to navigate ambiguity both individually and in leading a team. Core responsibilities include leading the development of marketing channel strategies for acquisition and retention/usage in emerging, digital or direct marketing channels and overseeing internal and external partner execution to bring the channel strategy to market. The Senior Manager, [Paid Digital Channel] Marketing leads a team responsible for contributing to acquisition and ECM marketing planning by offering channel expertise to Acquisition and ECM Marketing strategists to optimize marketing plans.Essential Job Functions• Leadership: Leads a team that develops emerging and established digital channel strategies and tactics, which drive accretive acquisition or product usage value for Bread Financial. Leads and organizes meetings, internally and externally, as needed. Oversees teams’ implementation of necessary legal, compliance and ERM practices and/or documentation to remove barriers to execution and mitigate regulatory concerns. Demonstrates a commitment to evolving and advancing individual team members’ contribution and success including developing channel marketing subject matter expertise. Responsible for helping team understand and contribute towards growth plans, strategic imperatives, marketing goals, and team goals.• Marketing Strategy: Oversees marketing channel campaign planning and tactics to drive acquisition and usage. Accountable for developing marketing strategy and annual planning for assigned marketing channels. Identifies future trends and activities related to marketing channels along with broader departmental objectives including organizational learning gaps, business landscape, and vendor capabilities. Leverages marketing channel expertise to contribute to cross-channel marketing strategy led by Acquisition and ECM Marketing teams.• Marketing Management and Optimization: Responsible for allocating marketing channel budget and forecasting of investment to maximize optimal return on investment by managing to defined KPIs. Manages invoices and expense reconciliation for marketing channel campaigns. Oversees relationship with external agencies/vendors and/or internal Marketing Operations related to day-to-day management of campaign activation, campaign reporting, etc. and makes decisions related to day-to-day management of campaign optimization. Drives coordination with analytics partners for hindsight analyses and derives insights for reporting performance to department leadership. Leads identification of areas of opportunity for optimization such as process improvements, provides recommendations and implements across related marketing channels. Regularly reviews performance reporting internally, highlighting key wins and areas of opportunity and makes recommendations to department leadership on associated marketing strategy.• Business Relationships: Oversees team or vendors responsible for marketing channel campaign execution, working closely with Acquisition Marketing, ECM Marketing, Marketing Operations, and external partners to launch new campaigns, set-up requirements for success such as data feeds, website tagging and other channel marketing capabilities, and facilitates creative updates among other requirements unique to marketing channels.• Collaboration and Communication: Accountable for the development of marketing channel capabilities and standards, and communicates with internal marketing partners to bring marketing channel opportunities into marketing planning cycle serving as the SME on channel marketing best practices.Reports to: DirectorWorking Conditions/ Physical Requirements:• Normal office environment, some travel may be required.• This position is hybrid with an onsite schedule of 3-4 days per month. In-office requirements are subject to change based on business needs. This position is currently available to candidates that reside within 60 miles of Columbus, OH; Chadds Ford, PA; Wilmington, DE or New York, NY.Direct Reports: 2-4 direct reportsMinimum Qualifications:• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or equivalent relevant work experience• 7 years or more work experience in credit, loyalty or marketing experience preferred, particularly in the areas of digital marketing, agency marketing, and e-commercePreferred Experience:• Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Analytics, or equivalent relevant work experienceOther DutiesThis job description is illustrative of the types of duties typically performed by this job. Because job content may change from time to time, the Company reserves the right to add and/or delete essential functions from this job at any time.Typical Starting Range:$133,500.00 - $241,900.00Full Salary Range for position:California: $153,500.00 - $302,400.00Colorado: $133,500.00 - $254,000.00New York: $146,800.00 - $302,400.00Washington: $140,100.00 - $278,200.00The actual base pay within this range may be dependent upon many factors, which may include, but are not limited to, work location, education, experience, and skills.Bread Financial offers medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, and other voluntary benefits (including basic and optional life insurance, supplemental medical plans, and short and long-term disability) to eligible associates (regular full-time associates scheduled to work 30 hours per week or more) and their spouses/domestic partners, and child(ren) under the age of 26. New associate elected coverage begins on date of hire (with the exception of disability coverage which has a 6-month waiting period). Six weeks of 100% paid parental leave for eligible parents is available after a 180-day waiting period. Hired associates can immediately enroll in Bread Financial’s 401(k) plan.All associates receive 11 paid holidays. Associates have discretion in managing their time away from work through the Flexible Time Off (FTO) program and may need to notify and receive approval from their manager prior to taking the time off. Associates (except those located in Illinois) receive 80 hours of Paid Sick and Safe Time (“PSST”) upon hire and at the beginning of each subsequent calendar year. Illinois associates receive 40 hours of Illinois PSST upon hire and at the beginning of each subsequent calendar year and 40 hours of Illinois Paid Leave upon hire and at the beginning of each subsequent calendar year. Illinois Paid Leave must be used before associates in Illinois will be approved to take FTO.Hired associates will be able to elect the purchase company stock during offering periods in June and December.
