Sales at Brex

What you’ll do


As the first RFP Specialist at Brex, you will be responsible for developing a repeatable and scalable process for fielding RFP’s. This role sits underneath our Solutions Consulting organization and acts as the proposal lead for the creation of Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), materials and collateral. This includes partnering with Product Marketing to lead opportunities originating from clients and involves understanding the unique aspects of the business to develop client-centric proposals that articulate the company’s value and market differentiation.


Responsibilities


Proposal Pitch & Support

  • Working directly with members of cross functional teams to draft RFPs, RFIs, incorporating pitch materials and collateral in collaboration with PMM
  • Providing proposal best practices to ensure proposals and materials are responsive, client-focused, and articulate the company’s value and differentiation
  • Participate in kick-off meetings to determine win themes and proposal and pricing strategy,
  • Create first drafts using internal content and tools
  • Overseeing and finalizing client-ready RFPs and proposals
  • Ensuring RFPs, proposals and pitches are tracked in the company’s database

Content Improvement and Management

  • Undertaking the writing and editing of “stock” content, including differentiators, value propositions, and content related to solutions, security questions, value-added services, pricing, and more

Operational & Project Leadership

  • Ensuring that processes and projects are effectively carried out
  • Leading and supporting efficiency projects related to the continual upgrading and enhancement of our tools, content and processes
  • Developing and/or updating training tools and resources


Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant business experience, ideally as a Solutions Consultant
  • Professional maturity, including strong interpersonal skills, tact and discretion.
  • Excellent organizational skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and set priorities with challenging deadlines.
  • Ability to complete designated tasks in a systematic and logical way, with great attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail in writing, editing, and budgeting.
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable
