Audio Video Programmer II

Bridges SI seeks an Audio Video Programmer to continue developing our growth and prestige.

This position reports directly to the Engineering Manager and is expected to be a contributing member of the Engineering Team. Will support service department as coordinated through Engineering Manager.

In this role, you will:

  • Design and develop custom graphical user interface (GUI) on control system touch panels
  • Develop programs for Crestron, Extron, AMX, QSC, and Biamp systems
  • Be responsible for maintaining a professional attitude and delivering excellent customer service
  • Coordinate the creation and integration of A/V control system programs
  • Troubleshoot and debug AV systems
  • Complete training programs from manufacturers, industry associations, and the company as required
  • Perform programming task at Bridges SI facility and/or customer site locations.
  • Ability to load/test/finalize code if provided by other programmers.
  • Other duties as required or assigned by management
  • Crestron silver or higher certification. Extron, QSC, and AMX control system programming experience preferred.
  • Experience with control systems, videoconferencing, switching hardware, audio DSP setup, and calibration
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals such as TCP/IP, addressing, firewalls, routers, vlans, and VPN
  • Applicant must have experience with interface (GUI) design and graphics applications
  • Applicant must be local to the DC, Maryland, Virginia (DMV) area and able to travel throughout on a regular basis. May require some out of town travel
