Position Summary
We are searching for a Human Resources Business Partner to join our Wilson, NC manufacturing plant. This will be an onsite position.
In this role, you will support assigned client groups across different manufacturing teams on a day to day basis. You will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following: guidance and partnership on a broad range of HR matters, equal employment opportunity, performance, promotions, employee development, benefits administration, affirmative action, discrimination/harassment enrollment, and staff relations.
Responsibilities
• Assist and support HR assistant with coordination of activates with external groups and local outreach to promote diversity.
• Investigate and respond to internal complaints, EEO /DOL and hotline charges.
• Ensure all required communications and postings are in compliance.
• Champion a nondiscriminatory work environment and address and discriminatory practices.
• Develop and provide harassment and discriminatory practice education and communicate mechanisms to report and investigate the practices.
• Maintain a positive relationship with teammates and local community.
• Manage all aspects of employment process including recruitment, interviews, assessments, selection, and hiring in accordance with laws, regulations and company policies.
• Bachelor degree in human resources or related field.
• 2-3 years in human resources related positions.
• Prior experience leading trainings and/or presentations.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Prior experience with employee relations
Nice to Have:
• Prior experience in manufacturing
• HR Certification - SHRM/PHR
• Bi-lingual - Spanish
