Overview: 

Overview: should have expertise in platform architecture and support activities, especially for Business Intelligence (BI) platforms and ETL platforms. This crucial role will focus on enhancing, maintaining, and developing our business intelligence platform's architecture, support, maintenance, and improvement. The candidate will be responsible for working closely with external team members and stakeholders to lead and assist daily platform operation activities. Moreover, the role involves proactive coordination with the quality and compliance team for platform architecture changes, along with the diligent maintenance of thorough documentation for architecture, test cases, integration agreements, quality documents, and all necessary materials for quality and compliance, including creating all support documents required for audit. This position will report to the Lead Platform Architect and will work with the respective BI/ETL platform technical account manager, project leads, application leads, or solution technical leads

Responsibility

Lead the strategic architecture, maintenance, and improvement of our business intelligence platform, emphasizing optimization of Business Intelligence (BI) platforms for effective data extraction, transformation, and loading.

Drive the design and implementation of cloud-based solutions, ensuring smooth integration, scalability, and resilience within the cloud environment, specifically tailored to Business Intelligence (BI) platforms.

Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and ensure platform infrastructure and resources are secure and compliant with the organization's standards and practices.

Use expertise in understanding cloud cost and billing to optimize usage and maintain cost-efficiency within the cloud environment.

Responsible to onboard new projects on platforms.

Drive and support proof of concepts for new tools and technologies

Act as a product owner for BI and ETL platforms

Follow organization standard processes including scrum , Kanban , incident management and quality documentation.

Requirements:

Minimum of 10 years' experience in platform architecture, development and support activities with expertise in Business Intelligence (BI) platforms and ETL platforms.

Demonstrated track record in leading and evolving business intelligence platforms, with a focus on Business Intelligence (BI) ecosystems, data warehousing, and analytics.

Basic skill in cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure, with hands-on expertise in architecting and maintaining cloud-based solutions tailored to Business Intelligence (BI) platforms.

Expertise in server maintenance, working with SaaS, and data governance, with a strong command of SQL and NoSQL databases, specializing in Business Intelligence (BI) platforms.

Proven expertise in understanding cloud cost and billing to optimize usage and maintain cost-efficiency within the cloud environment.

Should have working understanding of at least two business intelligence platforms (Qlik, PowerBI or Tableau are preferred) and one ETL platform (Informatica or IICS is preferred).

Working expertise of cloud migration from on prem BI systems (Qlik or Tableau)Hands on experience with PowerBI is plusExpertise in cooperating well with other team members.

Should have working understanding of windows and Linux OS.

Expertise in working with version management tools, incident management system, SSO , VPC and Firewall.

Should have working knowledge of APIShould understand AI/ML concepts
