Position Overview:
 
We are currently seeking determined Senior Direct Sales Trainer who embodies our core values: Service, Accountability, Customer Focus, Growth, and Integrity. The Senior Direct Sales Trainer is solely responsible for the creation, maintenance, and enhancement of the Brinks Home Authorized Dealer Training Program, including writing policies, procedures, and new dealer on boarding training materials. Candidates for this role must also be able to successfully deliver training to our authorized dealer partners, collaborate with authorized dealers on ongoing training needs and execute training initiatives.

 
Key Responsibilities:
 
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to write policies and procedures for the authorized rep and dealer network.
  • Work with a high level of responsibility and autonomy.
  • Create and maintain a new authorized dealer and Direct rep onboarding training program.
  • Implement training program using variety of training methods from instructor-led, virtual instructor-led, and eLearning delivery.
  • Develop and maintain the authorized dealer and Direct online knowledgebase.
  • Work with business stakeholders to roll out new initiatives and programs to the authorized dealer and Direct network.
  • Work closely with the Learning and Development team to ensure consistent communication of initiatives across business areas.
  • Understand and analyze business impact of training initiatives through the use of analytics and reporting.
  • Work with new authorized dealers in the program to assist in the successful stand-up of new authorized dealers. Trainer should have previous sales experience, and can demonstrate success in a sales role
  • Candidate should have prior training experience, or security system sales experience. Both would be preferred, but one or the other is required
  • Candidate will be training on both sales skills and techniques, as well as product, system and company knowledge
  • Must be willing to get in the field and sell alongside dealers and sales representatives
  • Must be able to deliver sales rep training, but also train the trainer type instruction
  • Assist teams and individuals in hitting goals and pushing production in assigned markets
  • Maintain KPI’s established by Directors
 
 
Requirements:
 
  • Position requires travel (up to 50%)
  • Bachelor's degree from four year college or university in business, or related experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience working with stakeholders at all levels within the organization
  • Experience working with authorized dealers/franchises/external business partners strongly preferred
  • Leadership experience as a trainer, supervisor, or manager of people
  • 2+ years of experience in adult learning
  • Proficiency with multimedia authoring tools, such as Adobe Captivate, Illustrator, InDesign, Articulate Storyline, etc. is preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge and experience with the practical use of adult learning principles
  • Experience with instructional design methodologies preferred
  • Experience with writing training materials is preferred
  • Experience in managing a knowledgebase is preferred
  • Experience with writing/creating policies and procedures is strongly preferred
  • Experience managing a learning management system (LMS) is strongly preferred
  • Experience working with different personalities to overcome obstacles and successfully obtain goals
