Read more: careers.bms.com/working-with-us .Position SummaryBristol Myers Squibb is seeking a Scientist, QC Equipment Lifecycle Management. The Scientist position serves as the QC equipment system owner and manage QC laboratory equipment lifecycle activities.This role is stationed in Devens, MA and reports to the Associate Director of QC Systems and Support.Key Responsibilities• Act as team lead in daily activities, including but not limited to running daily huddles, managing projects, and coordinating resources.• Represent QC Equipment team in cross functional and cross site technical discussions, equipment lifecycle and process improvement initiatives.• Lead creation and approval of equipment User Requirements, data integrity assessments and validation protocols.• Schedule, facilitate and participate in performing the validation, calibration, maintenance, repairs of QC laboratory equipment, whether performed internally or by vendors.• Anticipate and perform troubleshooting and problem solving independently.• Train and mentor others on equipment lifecycle process and procedures as applicable.• Lead QC activities related to equipment change management.• Manage investigations and deviations related to equipment.• Support health agency inspection as equipment area subject matter expert.• Ability to accurately and completely understand, follow, interpret and apply Global Regulatory and cGMP requirements.• High problem-solving ability/mentality, technically adept and logical.• Ability to communicate effectively with peers, department management and cross-functional peers about task status, roadblocks and needs.• Strong mentoring, coaching, influencing, negotiating and personnel interaction skills.• Advanced ability to work in a fast-paced team environment, meet deadlines, and prioritize work from multiple projects.Education & Experience:• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required, preferably in Science.• Advanced degree preferred.• 6+ years of relevant laboratory experience or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferably in a regulated environment.• Demonstrated technical writing skills.• Demonstrated experience with data integrity requirements.• Demonstrated experience with equipment qualification and validation.• Advanced knowledge of computerized systems and enterprise applications such as SAP, Valgenesis and Maximo.If you come across a role that intrigues you but doesn't perfectly line up with your resume, we encourage you to apply anyway.
