Our award-winning Precision Design System and SDK are expanding, and we need your skills to develop patterns from concept to design to documentation. You will collaborate closely with our existing UX Designers and Researchers to coordinate pattern and component development, ensure design excellence, and create comprehensive documentation. The Design System is a collection of UI components and interaction patterns that is used in the design of all our products. Our achievements have been recognized with awards such as Red Dot, iF UI Design, CMG Innovation, and FastCompany Awards. Your contributions will help propel us towards even greater opportunities and achievements.What You'll Do:• Produce interaction designs and guidance documentation for Precision Design System components• Organize the Precision Design System patterns and components• Test designs and documentation with internal users and stakeholders to ensure quality and usability• Ensure timely delivery of patterns and designs from the extended UX and UI team• Identify opportunities for improvement and innovation within the Design System.The ideal candidate will have:• Experience creating or contributing to design systems• Familiarity with interaction design patterns• Documentation of when and when not to use a design pattern• Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of experience in software design-related roles• Strong organizational skills• Meticulous attention to detail• Familiarity with Figma• Ability to context-switch between teams and technologies• Background in enterprise software• Ability to understand complex technology requirements• Previous experience with design system and documenting use a plus• Ability to juggle - metaphorically and perhaps physicallyAdditional Job Description:Compensation and BenefitsThe annual base salary range for this position is $91,000 - $146,000This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.Broadcom offers a competitive and comprehensive benefits package: Medical, dental and vision plans, 401(K) participation including company matching, Employee Stock Purchase Program (ESPP), Employee Assistance Program (EAP), company paid holidays, paid sick leave and vacation time.
