Electrical (AutoCADE) DesignerBaltimore, MD (Windsor Mill)HybridPrimary Duties and Accountabilities• Create Protection & Control Smart Blocks using ACADE and associate attribute information.• Develop/convert Protection & Control standards to smart drawings in an ACADE environment.• Develop required procedures, job aids and flow charts in support of the Intelligent CAD implementation.• Support database development and management efforts.Minimum Qualifications:• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and/or Licensed Professional Engineer, Technology degree, or associate degree is acceptable.• 5+ years of AutoCAD experience, preferably in Electrical Design.• 4+ years of professional engineering experience• Ability to analyze and interpret complex electrical and mechanical systems.• Ability to read and understand Engineering drawings.• Knowledge and ability to apply problem solving approaches and engineering theory.• Knowledge of engineering designs, principles and practices.• Knowledge of complex field test equipment such as Protection and Control Relays.• Strong teamwork, interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with all management levels.• Strong written and oral communication skills.Preferred Qualifications• Background in Power Systems (Electrical substation equipment and their functions, Protective Relays etc.)• Inventor, AutoCAD Vault experience.• Familiarity with SDS toolkits for substation design in ACADE• Database creation and management (Microsoft Access, SQL etc.)What’s in it for you?• A welcoming, team environment where you will be provided an opportunity to work with a Fortune 250 company.
