You will play an integral part in contributing to automation efforts and code engineering to support enterprise-wide Cloud 3.0 Journey. This modernization journey will service the entire enterprise and work across cross-functional teams to enable cloud adoption, drive standardization efforts, and enhance the scalability and reliability of our platforms.Requirements:Python Programming:• Strong proficiency in Python with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in backend development.Cloud Provider Experience:• Extensive experience with at least one cloud provider, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP).• Proficiency in deploying, managing, and scaling applications on GCP.Containerization and Orchestration:• Strong experience with Docker for containerization.• Proficiency in Kubernetes for container orchestration, including deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications.API Development:• Proven experience in developing RESTful APIs using Flask or FastAPI frameworks.• Understanding of API design principles and best practices and open standards such as open apiTesting and Code Coverage:• Experience with unit testing frameworks such as pytest or unittest.• Familiarity with code coverage tools and practices to ensure high-quality code.Database:• Strong experience with SQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).• Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).Optional Skills:CI/CD Pipelines:• Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.• Familiarity with tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.Front-End Technologies:• Basic understanding or experience with front-end technologies like React or Angular.• Ability to collaborate with front-end developers to integrate APIs.Additional Skills:Version Control:• Proficiency with Git for version control and collaboration.Agile Methodologies:• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.Problem-Solving:• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Communication:• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.Documentation:• Ability to create and maintain comprehensive documentation for APIs, systems, and processes.Preferred Qualifications:Certifications:• Relevant certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., GCP Professional Cloud Developer) or Kubernetes (e.g., Certified Kubernetes Administrator).Open Source Contributions:• Contributions to open-source projects or active participation in the developer community.Performance Optimization:• Experience in optimizing application performance and scalability.About Eight Eleven Group (DBA Brooksource):At Eight Eleven, our business is people.
