BSA Analyst

About the Role:

We are looking for a BSA Analyst with industry knowledge, an understanding of related-regulations and is with strong writing and communication skills to support our Transaction Monitoring team as well as the BSA Officer in maintaining a compliant program. Responsibilities:

Review, analyze and draft Questionable Activity Report referrals to partner bank in accordance with Novo's BSA/AML & OFAC policy
Assist BSA Officer in day-to-day execution of Novo's BSA/AML & OFAC program.
Serve as an escalation point for queries from other departments requiring BSA/AML, OFAC or compliance guidance
Assist in monitoring of developments in the BSA/AML & OFAC industry as well updates typologies and applicable laws and regulations
Serve as an escalation point for Transaction Monitoring team
Assist in drafting and updating of Policies & Procedures to maintain compliance

Requirements for the Role:

Minimum of 3 years of experience drafting SARs for a US financial institution
Strong writing and communication skills
Management/supervisory experience in compliance role a plus, but not required
Entrepreneurial attitude and experience with, or the ability to adapt to, a rapidly growing start-up with associated complexities and ambiguities
Must be a quick learner and possess leadership skills
Strong time management, prioritization, work organization and multitasking skills with a drive for efficiency, accuracy and risk management controls required

Nice to Have, But Not Required:

Experience with Fintech and Partner Bank model
CAMS qualification
