Position Overview:
As the DTC Acquisition Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing acquisition strategies that drive traffic, increase customer acquisition, conversion, and maximize ROI. Your role is critical in growing our customer base through paid media, partnerships, SEM, affiliate marketing, and other digital marketing channels. The ideal candidate will be a data-driven marketer with a deep understanding of performance marketing, consumer behavior, and the DTC landscape, especially within CPG.
 
Key Responsibilities: 
  • Develop & Implement Acquisition Strategies: Lead the creation and execution of data-driven customer acquisition plans to scale paid media channels, including Meta, Google, and programmatic advertising.
  • Manage Paid Media Campaigns: Oversee performance marketing initiatives, optimizing campaigns for key metrics (ROAS, CAC, LTV) and ensuring alignment with company growth goals.
  • Cross-Channel Strategy: Integrate and optimize acquisition efforts across various channels, including paid social, search, affiliate, and partnerships, to create a unified acquisition funnel.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the creative, merchandising, retention and site development teams to ensure campaign assets and landing pages align with audience targeting and DTC strategy.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze campaign performance data, conduct A/B testing, and provide actionable insights to refine strategies. Provide regular reporting on key metrics such as ROAS, CAC, and LTV.
  • Budget Management: Manage acquisition budgets, ensuring efficient spend allocation across channels while driving maximum ROI. Manage and optimize ad spend with specific goals for ROAS, LTV, and CAC, ensuring sustainable growth and alignment with company profitability targets.
  • Customer Insights: Understand customer behavior, demographics, and psychographics to improve targeting and messaging for various segments.
  • Stay Ahead of Trends: Keep abreast of the latest DTC and digital marketing trends, tools, and best practices to ensure Bulletproof stays competitive in the marketplace.
 
Qualifications: 
  • Minimum 4 - 6 years of experience in DTC customer acquisition.  Previous experience in the CPG coffee category is highly preferred; experience with CPG functional foods or beverage brands will also be considered.
  • Proven track record of scaling paid media and managing acquisition budgets to drive strong ROI.
  • Expertise in performance marketing, including Facebook Ads, Google Ads, and programmatic platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in web analytics (Google Analytics, Data Studio, etc.) and optimization (A/B testing, CRO) using tools like (Optimizely or Google Optimize).
  • Hands-on experience managing and optimizing Google Merchant Center for product listings, ensuring integration with paid search campaigns to maximize visibility and conversions.
  • Experience in affiliate marketing.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable strategies.
  • Excellent collaboration skills and experience working cross-functionally with omnichannel or multi-platform campaigns in a fast-paced environment.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for the DTC space and consumer brands.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA is a plus but not required.

Annual base salary gross: $105,000 - $125,000. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary range for this position.  The base salary is one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other benefits include performance bonus program, generous time-off, flexible schedules, comprehensive health insurance (several options to choose from), 401k program with company match, paid parental leave, company paid disability insurance, and bulletproof.com store discount & credit.
