Bumble is seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Product Marketing to lead and elevate our product marketing efforts. This role is crucial in driving the go-to-market strategy, positioning, messaging, analyst relations, and overall marketing success of our multi-product suite of solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in app-based marketing, with a deep understanding of global campaigns, and a proven track record of building strong relationships with product, sales, and customer success teams, as well as leading high-performing product marketing teams.
What you'll be doing
- Go-to-Market Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies for Bumble's multi-product suite, ensuring alignment with company goals and market demands.
- Positioning and Messaging: Craft and refine product positioning and messaging that resonates with target audiences across different markets.
- Analyst Relations: Manage and build relationships with industry analysts to ensure Bumble is well-represented in relevant market reports and thought leadership pieces.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, sales, customer success, and other marketing teams to ensure cohesive and effective product launches and campaigns.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing product marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs, and use this knowledge to inform marketing strategies.
- Performance Analysis: Analyze and report on the performance of marketing campaigns and initiatives, using data-driven insights to optimize future efforts.
About you
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in product marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably within the app-based industry.
- Proven track record in designing and executing successful global marketing campaigns.
- Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with product, sales, and customer success teams.
- Demonstrated experience in leading and developing high-performing teams.
- Proficiency in analyzing market trends, campaign performance, and customer insights.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
$182,000 - $228,000 a year
Base Compensation Range: $182,000 - $228,000. For base compensation, we set standard ranges for all roles based on function, level, and geographic location. This position is also typically eligible to participate in our short- and long-term incentive programs. Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k) match, Unlimited Paid Time Off Policy.
